All is well in the world

Hello All

Not posted on here for a while...oops... for the simple reason nothing has got me mad over the last few months.
Yes there's been an election, but that all seemed to turn out all right at the moment, so not going to comment on that. I went to Disney, a few things to moan about there, but decided not to as it would ruin a perfectly good hoilday.  I'll just say if you want to go to Disney then save up the money and go to the States rather than Paris as it's starting to get a bit tatty.

The one thing that does annoy me, are folding bikes. Why ? Well let me tell you. I travel by train to work every morning and First Capital Connect do not allow you to take a normal bike on peak service trains, you have to take a folding bike. Sounds fair enough to me, it can be crowded and modern trains don't have guards vans on them. I personally would never buy one, because any bike thats designed to come apart sounds a bit dodgy to me' I've already fallen of a normal bike once when it broke and busted my ankle and wasn't allowed to walk for 6 weeks, so have no intention of doing that again.
This isn't the main reason I don't like these bikes its down to the people that use them. It makes sense to me that the train companies only want these as they take up less room and are easy to get on or off, so why do the people that ride them insist on unfolding them as the train pulls into the station and getting in everyones way as they struggle to get them off the trains then push them up a crowded platform then try and get them through the ticket barriers. I might as well take my normal bike , it will have the same effect.
Keep your stupid little bikes folded until you're out of the station then we'll all get out much easier and quicker.
